There was snow this morning. It was the first snow shoveling of the season. On the other hand, a photo exhibition started at the museum today. This is the Mombetetsu branch of the Hokkaido Photographic Society. 7 people including me are exhibiting 37 works. Until December 22th.
Mombetsu is famous for scallops. I recommend "Scallop Rice Bowl" at Izakaya restaurant "Yotteke Marutomi". It comes with miso soup. The taste and the volume are nice. Please enjoy seafood.
The Okhotsk Tower on the sea jutting out from the pleasure boat port in Mombetsu. The coffee shop "companio" in the observatory is specialized in waffle sweets. I recommend the chocolate banana ice waffle. Please enjoy it while looking at wild seals and Mombetsu.
