Sunrise from the clouds

 The sunrise this morning was scheduled for 6:53 a.m.  But it was 7 a.m. when the sun emerged from the clouds. The temperature was -4.4 degrees Celsius. It was taken in Mombetsu park. Amazing.

Sign of seriousness

The highest temperature today was -0.5 degrees Celsius. Same as yesterday. This photo is Tokkari Center, a specialized seal facility. The zoo keepers were smiling and feeding the seals. A smile is a sign of seriousness. The customers will smile.

Keep smiling

 Today's high was -0.5 degrees Celsius. It was extremely cold because of the strong wind. But the zoo keepers kept smiling. Amazing.

White Illumination 2024

 Today's high was 0.7 degrees Celsius. There was full-scale snow in the afternoon. It has become a world of silver. The photo shows the White Illumination in front of the bus terminal.

A seal and I store fat

 Today's temperature was 8 degrees Celsius. The forecast says it will be severely cold from tomorrow. A seal and I store fat to withstand the cold. (^^;

The sun from Mt. sharidake

 Today's sunrise was at 6:43 a.m.  The sun rose from the Mt. sharidake at the base of Shiretoko Peninsula. The fishing boat just came back. Photographed at Mombetsu Park.

Smiling zookeeper

 Today's temperature was 4 degrees Celsius. I saw 6 wild seals. On the other hand, I took a picture of smiling zookeeper at Tokkari Center. She was checking the health of the seals.
